What are we all about?

Chase the Cure is making strategic stops in towns and cities throughout Canada. We are spending time within these various communities to promote the feeling among Canadians that they are never alone in their battles. The amount of time spent within each will vary dependant on response of communities and time commitments. There will be advance promotions through friends, CFL teams and associates.Throughout our “chase”, we are distributing pamphlets/information with updates about the ride. Along with this, we are having media conferences at our various stops to strengthen our media coverage through print and television. We are looking to promote community involvement, so, we are encouraging communities to hold events where local citizens will be able to join the ride.

Reaching out

The Chase the Cure Ride is interacting with local cancer organizations. It is our goal to have professional athletes from their respective areas involved with Chase the Cure and have them visit local cancer patients. This will not only undoubtedly brighten their day but will also reassure them that they are never alone in their battles.

Funds

While the Never Alone Foundation is currently working toward going national, the goal of the Chase the Cure program is for the funds raised in each province to stay within that province. The funds raised will locally go to benefit cancer patients, either through providing comfort to those who are going through treatment or research towards finding a cure.
